little pain today, but it faded quickly.  jackets game tonight was great . . . rick scored 2 goals, mason played a shutout and broke that other guy’s 11-game streak.  party on.

i want to run so badly, but i may put it off till new year’s.  a month would make me completely good to go, i think.  it’ll also make me a yoga master :-P  all the time i used to spend running is now spent yoga-ing it up.

7:30’s.  not bad for being off for a while, and pretty good for not even trying to run.  i was literally just trying to survive these 4 miles.  i couldn’t breathe . . . my lungs aren’t as big as they need to be :-P  that’ll be fixed soon enough.

i can’t wait for base.  it did wonders for me for the ‘08 season.  the pain in my leg is just about gone . . . i have to debate about whether i should keep resting it or go ahead and try to train lightly.  seeing as rest is what helps it, i think i’m gonna keep off of it.  going crazy . . . but healing.

update of my life!  oe of my best friends died last week, i found out monday night.  i’m pretty distraught over it still.  and on the other end of the spectrum, i told this girl i really like that i really like her.  and i found out she really likes me too!

buddy run

ran the first 4 miles with a friend, kinda slow, then killed the last mile.  did yoga afterwards.  felt amazing.  then we went bowling, and i bowled the best game of my life!  a 152!

my flexibility was just as good as last night and a little better.  it’s quite amazing.  running tomorrow.  i jogged a couple steps tonight, and there was no pain.  party!

i was so on it!  i had very little lower back tension, so i was able to enjoy corpse pose tonight . . . first time in months.  i was also mad flexible in my shoulders.  and across my groin . . . one of these days, i’m gonna be able to put my head under my front leg coming down from triangle.

doeds anyone else love steve ross?  he is JUST the man.  his spine, when he bends down, is just ridiculous.  i would aspire to be him, but it’s not possible.  and for a non-natural runner who wants to run the olympic marathon trials, saying anythign is impossible should be right out.

but steve is so the man.

watching the new episode . . . and i just can’t contain it.  ERIC IS AN A**.  “i have a fiance . . . oh i’m just kidding!”  That woman cares about him, and he’s gotta be a stupid teenager about it.

please.  not only does eric have more class than that, but he would never have broken up with her to begin with.  i think that the writers have done worst by eric’s character.  he’s a MAN, even if he’s only half the size of one :-P

even less pain than last time.  a little bit for the first 30 seconds, and nothing else.  nothing when i stopped running, either.  good improvement.  i have a little pain as i’m sitting typing this, but no biggie.  i’m only gonna take 2 days off this time, and run on weds.

no pain!

ran after a few days off . . . and i had a small pain in the beginning, and only a small twinge at the end.  usually it hurts A LOT right after i run.  give me a few more days off, and who knows?  i think i might be getting healthy just in time to set my base for next year.

oh yeah, it was glorious running tonight.  not having to concentrate on pain.  not having to think about it.  i also had some new songs on my phone, so that rocked.
